This is Girb. Girb is both useless and cute making Girb the perfect virtual pet.

Girb's sole purpose is to hop around your screen, talk to you in a language you cannot understand, and sometimes fall over (Girb is not very well coordinated).

The browser version of Girb does not talk so that Girb does not negatively affect user experience. This makes Girb flexible and available for a number of use cases.

Girb was inspired by Neko. There is also a Web Neko (which is a fine relic from a more civilized internet age). Both are worth checking out.
