Tetrageddon Games
(and its desktop counterpart)is probably the weirdest most tortured not-a-game game you will ever experience.
It is the internet condensed into a slew of interactive experiences that serve as something of a love-letter to the web of the past.
The experience is thoroughly riddled with hidden extras and tangents. Much like a virtual arcade, it largely consists of a collection of games. Among others, these include: Anatomically Incorrect Dinosaurs, FROGGY (It's Hungry), and Electric Love Potatoes.
Individual games have been shown at events such as
Mild Rumpus at GDC 2016 and
Fantastic Arcade.

Tetrageddon Gameswas created by
alienmelon.
alienmelon (also known as Nathalie Lawhead in physical spaces) is a collective construct of everyone's mind. They only exist because everyone thinks that they are real. They began as an NPC (non-player character) in an early browser text-based game sometime in the 90's. The character was convincing enough that people eventually began inviting them to events, conferences, and other gatherings in RL. As is the case with computers, somehow some weird programming fluke happened and they were able to start showing up in the physical world. They spend most of their days making games, but wish to one day return to their virtual home, and continue being an NPC.
Interested parties can read more about Nathalie, and their achievements,
